COLONIE ITALIANE :OCCUPAZIONE TEDESCA DELL'EGEO

L'isola di Rodi fu occupata da truppe italiane il 4 maggio 1912 e le altre isole del Dodecaneso nel corso della guerra Italo- turca ( 1911/1912) . Furono occupate nel Settembre 1943 da truppe tedesche , che rimasero nel Dedocaneso fino ad Aprile 1945, e poi occupate e presidiate da truppe inglesi, che vi usarono l'emissione M.E.F.

In seguito furono assegnate alla Grecia nel 1947 , francobolli " Amministrazione militare greca".

Le emissioni con la dicitura RODI ,non in soprastampa , hanno avuto corso in tutte le isole perciò sono catalogate nelle " Emissioni generali".

Poi abbiamo francobolli emessi durante l'Occupazione tedesca da settembre 1943 ad aprile 1945.
