1910, Doppelkarte 10 Centimes a. 10 (Pfg.) karmin ab "Jaffa 25.3.10" mit klarem violetten Nebenstempel "Tempel-Kolonie / Hamidije / Wilhelma / Deutsche Post / Jaffa" (FrNr. Nst. 6) nach Tegel. Der Antwortteil wurde mit Zusatzfrankatur 10 Pf. Germania (2) ab "Tegel 5.4.10" eingeschrieben postlagernd nach "Smyrna DP 10.4.10" gesandt, dort unzustellbar und zurück nach Berlin. Seltene Verwendung einer Doppelkarte aus Palästina und wieder zurück in die Levante, eingeschrieben evtl. einmalig. - Attest Dr. Steuer VÖB (1994), die Doppelkarte damals noch ungetrennt. Frageteil links und unten Wasserspuren. (Auktionsreferenz: Peter Vogenbeck Nr. 112, damaliger Ausruf 4800.-). ÷ 1910, eply card 10 Ct./10 (Pfg.) used "Jaffa 25.3.10" with oval violet "Tempel-Kolonie / Hamidije / Wilhelma / Deutsche Post / Jaffa" (FrNr. Nst. 6) alongside, to Tegel near Berlin. The reply part was uprated Germany 10 Pf. (2) and sent registered poste restante to Smyrna/Turkey, not called for and returned to Berlin. Scarce usage of a reply card from Palestine, perhaps unique registered. Cert. Dr. Steuer VÖB (1994), back hem unsevered. Question part left and bottom soiling. (auction reference: Peter Vogenbeck Nr. 112, estimate 4800.-).
