On April 22, 2023, the Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam Post Corporation will issue the stamp set "MODERN CABLE"
Cable car is a type of aerial vehicle, using one or two fixed ropes to attach, with a third rope to push. With this form, the overhead sling is always fixed to the rope and cannot be separated during operation. The cable car project in Vietnam has become a highlight, changing the tourism face of an entire region, becoming an ideal destination for domestic and international tourists. To contribute to the propaganda and promotion of the country's tourism development, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued a set of postage stamps "Modern Cable Car" including 3 stamps with face prices of 4,000 VND, 6,000 VND, and 8,000 VND. 01 souvenir sheet with the price of 15,000 VND introducing famous cable car places in Vietnam recorded in the Guinness record: Fansipan cable car "3-wire cable car system with the largest difference between departure and arrival stations in the world"( Lao Cai Province); Ba Na Hill cable car "The world's longest 1-wire cable car" (Da Nang city); Hon Thom Cable Car "The world's longest 3-wire cable car across the sea" (Phu Quoc Island) and Queen Cable Car (Quang Ninh) "The world's largest cable car and the largest cabin with a capacity of 230 People".
