Simó Ágoston (1925-2011): Retró kerámia kavicsváza, jelzett, hibátlan, m: 15,5 cm /// "1943-49: Magyar Iparművészeti Főiskola kerámia szak, mestere: Borsos Miklós, Gádor István, Molnár Elek és Ohmann Béla volt. 1957: Iparművészeti Pályázat I. és II. díj; 1960: Iparművészeti Pályázat I. és III. díj; 1985: Magyar Alkotóművészek Országos Egyesülete-díj; 2002: Ferenczy Noémi-díj. 1950-től a Gránit Kőedény és Porcelángyár, 1952-54 között pedig a Kerámia Iparművészeti Szövetkezet tervezőjeként dolgozott. 1954-től szabadfoglalkozású művész. A Siklósi Kerámia szimpóziumon 1972-ben és 1976-ban vett részt. Tevékenységi köre a kerámia teljes területére kiterjed, ezen belül jelentős szerepet kaptak a figurális plasztikák, a murális feladatok, továbbá a cserépkályhák."
